All the units within this qualification directly relate to the hairdressing industry. The mandatory subjects include: introducing you to the hair and beauty industries, how to present a professional image and working with others in the salon, salon reception, develop your creative skills in the art of dressing hair, applying temporary colour, create a hair and beauty image, provide effective shampooing and conditioning hair, how to display retail stock and the creative art of styling women's hair. You will also select two optional units from a range which includes: plaiting hair or plaiting and twisting hair, head massage, promoting products and services to clients, and styling and finishing African type hair and men's hair. The best part of this is that in order to enrol you just need to pass an interview where we asses your skill level..No other qualification is required!
